I am not fan of the concept of a “library” especially when the main code is a few lines of CSS.

I always share the main demo at the beginning of the article so people can easily grab the code if they don’t want to read the explanation. I also created https://css-tip.com/ for that purpose.

After all, it’s only a copy/paste of few lines into your style.css. No need for any complex import, package, or any garbage like that.

I’ve been thinking the same thing! I’m 100% all for deep understanding of anchor positioning and all that, but tooltips are such a classic known pattern that packaging all this up into something that any tooltip implementation could use would be great.
